Innovative solutions for human benefit
in the fields of cancer, dermatology
and regenerative medecine

"We are driven by a commitment to improving human health. 15 years ago no one else believed that 3D human tissue models would become indispensable to medicine. CTIBiotech were the first to make that vision a reality"
Professor Colin McGuckin
Chairman & CSO

World renowned cancer researcher & pionner in regenerative medicine.
Expert in stem cells, governement advisor, medical journal reviewer.

3 POLES OF EXCELLENCE

95% of new drug candidates fail cancer clinical trials, costing billions to the pharmaceutical industry and delaying new treatments for patients.

Robust predictive human cell bioassays support faster development of preclinical trials thereby saving time and money.

We offer: R&D, drug testing, medical device co-development and testing, bioassay co-conception and open lab. We provide fully functioning 3D tissue models and specific cell models from patients which improves efficacy given their proximity to human physiology.

For: Pharmaceutical industry (cancer research, regenerative medicine, medical devices), public and private research institutions, contract research organisations.

Key product innovations:

  • • World’s first mini liver as part of a NASA research programme
  • • World’s first nervous tissue model
  • • Stem cell applications
  • • 3D microtumours

LATEST INNOVATIONS

3D printed micro-tumour

Using the latest tools in bioengeneering, our researchers are now printing cancer tissues in 3D. These models can be used for highly significant pre-clinical trials and can be produced in 6/48/96 well plates for high throughput screening.

Advanced 3D skin models

Test your active ingredients, cosmetics, and dermatology products on advanced models and add credibility to substantiate efficiency claims for discerning customers. Donors can be selected by gender, age, phototype.

Open Lab

Use of our 1 000 m² state of the art R&D facilities with access to CTIBiosourcing and a highly trained team of international researchers located just 10 minutes from Lyon International Airport.
